Question:I'd like to put up couple dry walls to build a storage room in an unfishished basement. Do I need a permit for that?

If you 're not selling, don't waste your time on any permits.. They are nothing more than a tax grab. Just remember, DO NOT do the electrical or plumbing yourself useless you have your ticket in each. Certified installers do work all the time on a cash basis on the side.
