Cost of an Inground Pool in Illinois (IL)?

Question:I live in the west suburbs of Chicago and am looking to put in an inground pool. probably about 16x32(roughly). Nothing fancy really. Can anybody share with me a cost in the Chicago area for all types of pools (concrete, vinyl, fiberglass) and as many references as possible.

It is best to get your references on your own. Start with your local Better Business Bureau. It is one thing to have a complaint, but bad not to respond to them. Anyone who responds to your question as written will be giving you old pricing information and possibly the name of a company who did good work in years past, but this year is not.

In my area, a 16x32 vinyl is about $18,000. We installed our own. We subcontracted some of the work out. I have two links for you.

You should be able to find what your looking for in a book call National Construction Estimator. If you go to a book store you should be able to find this book. It's what contractors go by as to what to charge potential clients.
