How much would it cost to remodel a 8x8 bathroom? give an estimate?
Question:
Answers:
We have gotten 2 estimates for our bathroom, about the same size. We need to gut down to the studs, and replace everything. We are going with mid-quallity toilet, vanity, tub/shower, and tile floor and parts of the walls. Both estimates are around $5000. About 10 years ago we did a "do-it-yourself" version, spent under $1000, but now it looks like crap. Plus my husband's plumbing attempts have always leaked now and again.
That is a tough question. The range can be from $500 to whatever you want to spend. Give some specifics on what products are going in and what is there now and a more accurate estimate can be provided.
If you are going to totally gut the room then materials should run about 1000.00 dollars Labor will depend on what portions you can do yourself. If you can do none of the labor then figure about 2-5 thousand dollars for labor costs which depends on the area you live in.
You could probably do it for $600 or less. I estimated it off of getting new tile, new sink, refinishing the cabinets, new hardware and outlets, new lighting, and $100 for miscellaneous decorating. You could definitely do it for cheaper, but if you are going to pay someone to do it, you are going to get robbed. Good Luck
well it depends. Are you going to do any work yourself? We have a bath we remodled. It had a sink, toilet and shower. We provided the fixtures and they provided the labor. We paid him 3600.00 and the fixtures were probably another 1500.00 So we did the whole bath for about 5000.00. We didn't buy the cheapest fixtures out there and the workman did a ceramic tile floor. But we figured since we were completely tearing it out we should buy what we wanted
Depends on the quality of fixtures a lot. We paid about $5000 to remodel a small bathroom but we went with small plain vanity, Nice shower and Elongated toilet. No tub, not enough room for tub and moving around. Lighting is important. We added lighting above mirror over vanity as well as ceiling fixture. Also new but not fancy window.
