How do I find out how much to sell this old tub for? Please read details?
Question:My friends just bought a house. They are remodeling the bathroom. In it is a very old cast iron claw foot tub. In fairly good condition for it's age. How do I find out how much they can sell it for? Any help is appreciated.

We have an architectural salvage company in town and they sell quite a few. They get them re-glazed and then sell. Depending on size and shape, they start at $129.99 and go to $399.99.
In order to make money you will have to redo it. You CAN make money that way. If someone buys it like it is, they want to make money and will not pay top price. I have heard of them going for $1500 before.
