I have a carpet in my living room, and the ends, edges roll up. does anyone know why?

Question:

Answers:
The edges have not been stretched and tacked down correctly. Check to see of their is wood tack striping along the edges. If their is not, you can put some down your self and attach the carpet. Or you can use dual sided carpet tape to fasten the carpet down.

The rug is most likely too light weight for whatever is sitting on top of it which can cause wrinkling and curling edges. Try using some heavy duty double sided tape if the rug is on top of carpet. If the rug is on top of hard wood floors buy a carpet skid pad and cut to the size needed for under it and use the double side tape between the two. The extra weight will help hold the corners down.
I don't know why, but mine does, too. I bought some double stick carpet tape; solved the problem.
