Cleanup after painting?

Question:After painting all weekend, we attempted to be very neat. We didn't get anythiong on thr rugs...but we ran into one problem that we dind't really think of till after the fact. The countertop and sink we used to clean stuff off after we were done has paint ALL over it...its dried already...what is the best way to clean this up without damaging the counter or sink?

Answers:
If it was latex paint, it should still come up with hot soapy water. In the sink you can use cleanser with no problem, not sure what your countertop is made of, so hard to recommend. I use Bar Keepers Friend instead of regular cleanser and works great on stains and grime in the sink. You may be able to use it on your countertop as well, but it is mildly abrasive. You will want to test anything you use on your countertop on a small inconspicuous area first.
