How do you remove scratches off a light wood floor?

Question:The people that live in my house before I bought it scratched up this beautiful light wood floor, there are lots of small scratches and 1 deep scratch..is there anyway to remove them?

Answers:
You can use Almond Oil to disguise the small scratches. The deep one, how deep is it? You can use wood putty to fill it in. Be very sure it matches before you fill in the crack. You can also sand out the small scratches.
When you're all done with your repairs, oil the wood using light weight motor oil. Yup, cheap motor oil. This feeds the wood, making the grain more pronounced and beautiful. Then after the oil has completely been absorbed, seal it with gym floor sealer. This can be gotten in any hardware store. Congratulations on not just giving over and tossing carpet on it.

You can try Old English light. It works really well.
