Help with accent colors for living room, please. Thanks!!?

Question:My living room gets pretty good light and has a white trim fireplace with light yellow onyx face. I have a champagne colored sofa, 2 persimmon chairs. The floor is a multicolored slate tile with primarily tans and rusts and some grays. The walls are dark tan w/white trim. I need some help pulling it together. I don't know how to choose a rug or window treatments. I am thinking it could be accented with a blue or green? Thanks for the input!!

Answers:
Burgundy, tan, brown, persimmon, onyx, rust, champagne or some other natural color, but not green or blue, unless it's a very, very, pale green, but not blue at all. UHHH!!

You have white, champagne, persimmon and dark tan. If it were me, I would try to get more of the persimmon color. Choose a print for the rug and/or window treatment that pulls those colors together. If you really want to go with the blue or green, choose one that matches the slate and go from there.
you already have a fairly wide spectrum of color. designers usually use 4 basic colors in different percentages. Going for a blue or green is do-able,but not recomended. Rather choose your fav in the colors you already have and use that too avoid a circus :-)
