Anyone know a cheap way to get kitchen cabinets in Canada? Online?

I'm re-doing my kitchen, but the cabinet prices i'm finding are extremely high!
I have found great prices from the USA, but they will not ship up here. Anyone know of a good online cabinet store that is either in Canada, or will ship to Canada?

if the existing "carcases", ie the units except the doors are OK, you can just buy replacement doors. This is much less expensive and you can fit them yourself.
An even cheaper option is to paint the doors and change the handles.
Ikea is one retailer you will find carrying kitchen cabinets. They have a catalogue as well as stores in major Canadian cities and you can order online if there is no store nearby. Their shipping costs are reasonable, and their designs and options are design forward, I'm sure you will find something suitable.
Rona Home and Garden stores are also offering comprehensive design options for kitchen, bath, patios, etc. They have a website you can check out called "Rona by Design". I believe you can order cabinets etc., over the internet, or in store for self installation, or they can arrange installation. They are a Canadian owned company.
Home Depot probably has something similar to offer, but they are American owned. They also have a kitchen cabinet retro - fit program where doors and hardware can be replaced for a completely new look for less cost.
Also, check your yellow pages for cabinet outlets in your city that clear out discontinued cabinets, mis- sized cabinets or one of a kind or end of production units. These outlets are sometimes hit and miss, but I know of many buyers who have lucked into just the right cabinets at just the right time. There isn't a lot of custom options here, but if you are flexable with your design, you may find something you can use with other cabinets.
