I bought a 4 post bed at Bob's Furniture Store for $500. Everywhere else they wanted at least $1,200. Mine looks like a plantation bed or British Colonial. It is gorgeous and has a lot of carving, fluting and a pineapple carved in the middle of the posts. It is made very well and I feel like I got the steal of the century. It does not come with a canopy, but you could drape something over the top because the posts are very tall.
