Is this a good deal?
Question:Looking at buying some decorative boxes on ebay (seller allows local pick-up so I'm not paying for shipping). Do you think $16 CAD is alright for these 3 boxes (they're new)?

Absolutely, $16.00 would be a great deal. They're really nice, I'd buy them for more than that. Great deal, go for it.
I really think you could live with $24.00 for all three.
I think the price is fair for them. A range of those sizes in TJ Maxx is about the same price if not more. Keep in mind they start at about the size of a shoe box and then less then double in size. But I would buy them if I was looking for that type of thing. At least they are a matching set.
They look very nice so yes I think you're getting a good deal for that price. I've seen similar sets of decorative boxes go for much more.
The way I gauge a good deal is by determining how much I'm willing to pay for an item and if I could pay less somewhere else. These are absolutely lovely boxes and you might find something similar at Pier 1, Hoby Lobby, or maybe even Target. You'd probably pay AT LEAST $16 for them at those places. If you have to pay shipping, you might want to reconsider. As long as local pickup is arrangeable with the seller and you really like them and $16 is worth it to you, then, yes it is a good deal.
yes; those boxes are beautiful, and you can get them for the price plus the cost of gas to pick them up. Go for it.
