What color carpet should I get if i paint my room?

Like I said in the other question you had I think it would be cool if you got a cream colored carpet. That way if you get tired of it you can put a rug over it
It depends on what color you are going to paint your room. Pick out that color first then go to a carpet place and see which ones match the paint color
pick a neitral color like a beige, a light tan, or light gray, that way it will go wit pretty much anything.
well if you have pets or kids i recommend navy blue, black, or brown..if not then beige or cream color, they make rooms stand out..i guess it depends on the color of your walls..lol.
If budget is any consideration; purchase your carpet first to tie up a firm price. I personally would have it installed after the painting is done & dry. Carpet or flooring of most any kind is a much much larger expense than paint. Find that special carpet & have them give you a 4x4 or larger sample of it in your chosen color. Go on-line to a big brand paint company & view all their available interior colors & get an idea of what color range you want. Next, go to a home center & pick out colors that please you most. Take the little sample cards (I call paint chips) home & check them in different lighting with the carpet sample in hand.

You won't really know until you paint the room, but make sure it isn't in stark contrast to your room and you'll be alright.
I wouldn't install new carpet in a bedroom - hard on the allergies.
