Call around you may get lucky. But, unless the tree is special. Like walnut or extra large maple or some other exotic wood it will be hard. If you are in a town or city its very hard to get any one to cut for free. The problem is someone years ago may have put a nail in the tree and it will ruin the saw blade. But, the phone call is free and at the worst they will say no. Years ago I sold a large walnut tree even though it was in a town. As I recall got paid $500.
All you can do is check out your yellow pages and ask!! One never knows until they ask! Alot of ppl here in
Oregon pay alot of money for pine trees and take them out also!!
Nope. Tree removal, depending on the size of the tree, can be very expensive. Mostly, they chip the wood anyway to save space.
