Does anyone have good ideas at low cost for a pirate pool party?
Question:What should I make for homemade decorations? I have very few dollars to spare.

Go to the dollar store and get like a Treasure chest and find fake momey and put it in there and put bricks in it to make it sink.And you could also put the chocolate coin candy as like a snack like by the chips and dip.
you can make a huge chest out of cardboard and fill it w/ whatever...steal sand from the beach...
first find a paper hat origami diagram online. have the kids make the paper hats and decorate them for one game. Use newspaper & crayons/markers. cheap! have a treasure hunt with dollar stores toys. Play "Pirate, Pirate, Alligator" like duck duck goose : )
