I recently moved to a new apartment with VERY limited closet space. Anyone have any creative ideas for storage

Under the bed storage bins.

If the cabinets don't have shelves have some built in or buy wire racks.

Buy plastic shelves (or metal if your budget can afford them) from Walmart or a home improvement store to keep bulk items like paper towels, toilet paper, or whatever in the garage.

Buy hanging shoe trees for the back of the door.

Buy storage bins (3.49 and up at Walmart) for storing off season clothing. They stack nicely.

Use little plastic baskets to organize drawers and bathroom items in the linen closet. (.97 and up at Walmart)

Store storage container lids in a larger tupperware container with the stackable items.

Buy clear plastic bins for belts, pantyhose, whatever to stack on the top shelf of your closet.

Buy a cedar chest for the foot of your bed to store extra blankets and pillows.

Get a coffee table that has storage and end tables too.

Buy a dining room table that has drawers on the end to store napkins and rings.

Get an under the counter kitchen radio or tv to take up less counter space.

Install a pot rack in the kitchen from the ceiling or one on a wall to free up cabinet space.

Install wood shelves in the bathroom to stack towels and washclothes.

If you have space above your kitchen cabinets to the ceiling, then sew a cute valance type curtain to hide that space and then use it for additional storage. You can hang like a clothes line above the cabinets. You could suspend it from the ceiling. Or you could use a shower curtain rod of sorts.

If you have a pedestal sink, attach velcro to the rim of the sink and then fashion a curtain to attach to the velcro. Then you can store things under the sink.

Get an over the toilet organizer to keep more bathroom items handy.

Use a spice rack on the wall to free up cabinet space.

Good luck!

You can buy those rubbermaid storage bins that slide under the bed - they fit nicely and are especially good for items you may not use everyday.
Stop going shopping for clothes and shoes.Plus you can through away all them clothes from the 90s.You got stored up.
I have used the under the bed space a lot

I found a beautiful branch, after a windstorm, that I nailed up in a corner of the room. I hang my best looking shirts and coats on that, it adds a splash of colour and looks nice enough

The bulk of the my shirts and sweaters are fine folded and put into a nice cabinet with several shelves - the cabinet is smaller than a wardrobe. It is small enough to fit on top of my dresser. It was probably intended as a book shelf type cabinet

I put less-used things in the storage area (which is very secure where I live) including DVDs and CDs. Also out-of season clothing, old files, xmas stuff, etc
I just purchased those Ziploc storage bags for my winter clothes and slid them under the bed. They are fantastic storage savers.
