How does Direct Buy work? Is it worth getting in their membership?

Question:Buying electronics, furniture, appliance, ect..

Answers:
No, it is not a good idea to buy a membership to Direct Buy. It is my understanding that the fee to join is around 5500 and then you still have to pay a yearly fee. Also, Ive heard that some of the items they sale are not good quality and that you will not get the same warranty. Save your money, it can be done cheaper.

EDIT: I talked to a lady I used to babysit for and she said no. She ended up purchasing things through market.

Well they basically make money off of you by you buying their membership and then they sell you the product at wholesale price. So you save money in the long run. Yes, is worth subscribing.
It is only worth joining if you are planning a major project, remodel etc. The cost of membership is expensive and based on our calculations you need to be planning to spend around 10 -15k on your project in order to realize savings in the first two years. Savings on electornics and appliances is fairly minimal. Savings on furniture, cabinetry, tile, flooring is more substantial. My advice if you are planning on remodeling your house or building a custom house or buying lots of furniture (furniture prices are great) then sign up. If you are thinking you need to get a couch or a couple things you won't make up your money with the membership cost.
