Has anyone bought kitchen cabinets from Ikea?
Question:I love the LOOK of the cabinets but don't know how long they will last. Anyone has pros and cons for Ikea kitchen cabinets...would be very helpful.
Also, I like their glass doors on cabinets. Is that frosted glass or plain glass?

My friend's mom did and they installed them themselves and they look fabulous. So pretty and contemporary. I know she had glass, but can't recall if it was frosted or plain. I keep thinking frosted though. She said they were easy to install though.

Yes I have. I bought the soild birch doors for the uppers and lowers with all the trim. The type of glass depends on the style of the door you order. Email me if you want more info.
You get what you pay for. Particle board, VERY thin veneers. Hinge scres that don't hod up; they'll pull out of the particle board.
The glass is just your personal preference. Do you want fancy china to be seen, or do you want the contents hidden?
