What color should i use as an accent?

Question:i want my room to be a beachy type room. i already painted it a light aquamarine color, and my bed and desk are white. what color should i use? i don't really like dark colors, and i don't want pink. thanks in advance.

Answers:
orange, like coral, mango or tangerine.
or lemon yellow - either color combined with aqua will give you a tropical flair.

I'd say... green like palm trees... and tan like sand or the palm tree trunks!
I would choose a sand or taupe color.
Would look great with the aquamarine and your white furniture.
color of sand, other shades of blue
I would say a bright or even light orange...
I agree with Holly. A light green or tan color, or even a light orange would go great with what you've got already. Green would bring more of a calm, cool feeling to the room, while light orange would bring just a bit of warmth. Good luck! =)
Icy blues, shades of green one or two deeper or lighter than what you already have. Creams, sands.

Try going to your local home improvement store and looking at paint chips. Some even have theme books nowdays.
maybe a bright green, bright orange, yellow..
Go with sunny yellows or soft orange cream since you don't like dark colors.
To keep it beachy-- lime green, sand/tan, coral (although that borders on pink), light yellow, or a splash of red (think --"lifeguard" ).
Peach
Coral
Sage green
