Has anyone every seen a leather top dining room table?

Question:like leather (vinyl) upholstered over the top of a dining room table? how would that look. there would be no padding or batting. pics if possible.

I have only seen one dining table with a leather top and this was a very old antique table sort of long and narrow like you would imagine Robin Hood sitting at. It was also studded with gold coloured tacks all around. I would not recommend you using vinyl, leather will be more dureable depending on what you spill on it.
