Help im decorating my kitchen?
Question:give me ideas of what to put on my new kitchen for example
the italian chef, rugs, or anything that would look good that you have in mind

It's all about accessorising. I would avoid putting a rug in a kitchen, unless it's under the table, perhaps. You could try the following sites for ideas:

Not a rug - big no no in a kitchen! Collects dirt, can cause you to trip - I'd recommend a hard floor which is safe and easy to clean. Best thing in my kitchen at the moment is the coffee machine - makes great cappucino! Good luck and have fun designing your new kitchen.

It really depends on u'r likes. Haven't u seen any pix that u liked? Or mayb something u c in a mag & say... oh that would b interesting. Kitchens don't have to b chefs & fruit.
A baker's rack with some vintage containers, utensils, books, etc. is really nice. We have one in our kitchen and it really makes the room.
I would start out with the things I like. Maybe some pieces that you would use all of the time then add accents of colors like ceramic pieces with a theme, flowers, old dishes & wine racks or plate racks.
Making a statement is hard when you are not sure, so go slow with 1 piece at a time and be sure.
I would start out with the color of my appliances, dishes and stemware. How does the kitchen blend in with the other furniture you have in your home??
Decorating is a big expense and should be for long periods of time.
Anyhting that makes a statement about who you are and what you like should be your theme. I like the eclectic style, which means everything works together either by style, color or function. Many things can have the same color but not having anything in common except for the love of having it and using it.
Look for wall paper borders that you like, old silver pieces used for center pieces used for floral arrangements, old windows out of homes make wonderful mirrors for reflecting the whimsey in any room.
I glued old silver forks, spoons and knives around the frame. It is hot!
I can still visit my friends and family even if I have my back turned, since I can see them through the mirror and they can see me!
I like whimsey! I place old antique buttons inside of my gum ball machines to show them off. Bright colors and they keep the eyes moving. Nice conversation pieces.
