I want my room to feel more earthy and inviting tips please!?
Question:im a teen so my room has teen stuff like nail polish and clothes and lots of girly stuff and its a clutter but i want to make it more comfortable. i seemed to have tryed everything in my prespective like adding a nicer chair because before i had a butterfly cheap one and i've cleaned it alot and moved things around and i want it to seem more earthy and inviting and comfartable w/o haveing to go and pay alot to change it

Instead of seeing your room as one big space, look at it as several smaller "areas" like a sleeping area, listening to music with your friends area, study area, makeup and clothes area, and arrange it according to that. Each area does not have to be completely furnished, the listening to music area can be some throw pillows by your ipod dock.
Control the feel of the room with lighting and some plants.
Control clutter with some storage boxes made of natural materials (or natural looking, not rubbermaid)
You can always paint walls, and change out your bedding, but just looking at your room differently should help alot.
And put your ideas on paper, measuring everything, then play with different arrangements on paper before moving it physically.
Try this. Paint walls sky blue. Use paint brush to sploch in white clouds and then mix a bit of blue in the white to finish up the cloud look. You can even blend it into the ceiling and make your room a work of art. Everyone will be looking at the clouds and not what's under foot.
You could always paint. A fresh coat of paint does wonder. You might also look for dual-purpose furniture. A chest to keep stuff in. Some sort of containers to hold items under the bed but still with easy access. Try shelves. That gets clutter off the floor and opens the room up more. I suggest making or buying some pillows with ferns on them. you can stencil or stamp some ferns or leaves on the walls. Color is the big thing I think. Can you paint the walls. Go for a warm golden yellow or a nice green then add your decorations. you can place all your nail polish and things in neat little wooden boxes or trays or even some rugged looking baskets on your dresser. look at magazines and get some ideas for woodsy looks.
