Anyone know a way to cover a mirrored wall(in the living room)?

Question:I have an entire wall of panelled full length mirrors in my living room. I would like to paint over them or cover them-needs to be a temporary non damaging solution. Any ideas?

Answers:
I would hang a curtain over them. I've seen it done and it really looks good if you put a nice rod up. Material would work well too, but I like the curtain idea.

I agree run a curtain across them. You could also get those bamboo shades or roman shades. Throw in some large potted plants/trees too.
I agree with Ricky. Just hang the drapes from the ceiling. Try Ikea for cheap, really LONG drapes. I would not suggest painting them. That would be more permanent than temporary. Worse case scenerio, try moving a large piece of furniture in front of it, like a china cabinet or buffet. You will be surprised at how much less gawdy it will feel if you block out some of the mirror.
simple clean cut long curtains are really the best solution. u could also put some furniture against it (sofa, console, etc..) & plants in between. a really nice thing u could do is to add cool spot lights between the mirrors & curtains (leave enough space, & only buy the ones that DONT heat, u dont want a fire). when u turn off ur main light, the spot lights will give an amazing effect.

ps: for perfect results, use a dimmer :)
