Im wanting to organize my room how do I do so???
Question:I want it to look like a tennagers room because well it is how can I decorate it better? Its already in\ purple and pink Im talking about pic and stuff?
Answers:
Get a board that you can put loads of photos of you and your friends on.
Get cool storage boxes to throw stuff into that you haven't got room for elsewhere.
You can get throws and pillows to go on your bed in colours that compliment the scheme you already have. Beaded or sequined pillows look really good.
A rug in a complimentary colour can give your room a new look too.
Update your lampshade or try getting a new lighting piece like fairy lights around your bed or something cute like that.
Whenever I organize my room, the first thing I do is organize my clothes. I sort out what I do and don't wear. Then I sort out my books and papers. This helps unclutter things. For a teenager, I think the coolest room would be a reflection of who you are and what you are doing right now. Pictures of your friends and your hobbies or sports would look cool. Also, make a little "me area". A little chair or a place where you can just sit and be in your own little space. Some funky purple and pink pillows would be cute. Good luck.hope this helped... ;)
a picture board is a great way to do lots of pics w/o over doing it. and you can buy or make your own. and take lots of pics of your friends but dont just do one have a couple hanging aroud such as if you have a desk put one above it and any dressers or night stands you could even use poster board to make it more teenesh. just thrown your own creativity on the board and decorate around it.
Purple and pink sound feminine. I would suggest a spring flowery theme. Make it light and calm feeling. I would do flowers on the wall, silky drapes, pictures of fields of flowers, etc.
The best thing to do to keep a small room from feeling cluttered is to get rid of stuff.
Sort your clothes out by season first- and put all out of season clothes in a box. Then, take everything out of your closet, and sort into "give away" and "wear". Everything you put in "wear" sort by all shirts, all jackets, all pants, all jeans, and then longer clothes. That way you will see how many red shirts you have, and how many pairs of jeans you have.
Hang everything BACKWARDS on the hanger-and after you wear it, turn the hanger around the right way. That way you will know in a few days what you wear a lot and what you never wear. After a couple of months, anything still not turned around-TOSS or wear!
Sort out your shoes the same way- by tossing any you haven't worn in months. Or wearing them.
Now take on your dresser. Take everything off your dresser, and put it in a box in your closet. Leave it blank for a few days. Don't put anything on there.
Sort out each drawer, and only put enough clothes to fit in one drawer. If they are too full -toss out what you haven't worn in months. If in doubt, toss.
You are just storing it, not using it.
Use your top drawer for pictures, memorabilia, and hair doodads.[
Have ONE place for everything. If you run out of PLACE-toss it.
Now, after you have had an empty dresser for a week, buy some flowers and a pretty vase for it. Leave it empty.
Then start going through the box of stuff on your dresser. Use little boxes to sort out your jewelry. Use a scrapbook to keep momentos and papers. Store old goodies in a box in the attic.
Use a bulletin board or picture frame to make a collage of your favorite photos and ticket stubs, etc.
Every night before you go to bed, take 2 minutes to put away anything out of place, so you can wake up to a neat room.
Decorate it with stuff from your life-prom pix, shells a cool trip you went on, your toe shoes from ballet, your favorite Easter dress when you were 6. hang your jump rope on the wall.
Personalize it, but don't bombard yourself.
I like oriental design myself, and I love a clean calm personal room.
you can look online or but magazines like better homes, lefe and style etc. but i am a teenager so i would know usually pictures of your friends cute acessories like a beanbag chair, or a collage of pictures from good times that you remember or of famous people you admire but your room should reflect who you are as aa person and should be fun how YOU want it
