How do you get your husband not to fix things after he has had beer?

Question:we try 2 do household jobs on weekends but by 3 pm and 7 beers later he is drilling into the wall insted of the studs.

Answers:
buy alcohol free beer and change the label!

you may not like this answer but.. why dont you keep him occupied (you know what i mean). get on your knees. he is drunk already so he should finish quick and pass out.
Make your plans to work until mid afternoon and relax for the rest of the day. If you have the day planned out ahead of time he will be less likely to notice that your reason for quitting early is the amount of alcohol he has had. Maybe you can plan on grilling out invite a couple of friends over. By 3pm he should be getting in the shower from working all day and be ready to start the grill and relax with friends towards the end of the day.

If he understands later the damage he has done maybe you can convice him to start on the beer a little later in the day. He will probably be more receptive to the suggestion before he has begun drinking, and if he still has too much you can suggest that it is time to stop for the day.
Tell him no beer before 3 pm. At 3 only 1 beer til 6. Either that or hide the beer.
Just keep the beer off limits until after 6:00 pm.
Give him whiskey chasers.
