Removing paint from a tiled floor?
Question:What's the best thing for removing paint from a tiled floor? My kitchen has textured floor tiles which I think are ceramic and it has been painted with tile paint by the previous owners. This paint is now flaking and leaving bits everywhere!
What would be the best thing to use to remove the paint completely?

If it flakes I would remove it altogether. I had painted tiles that shed flakes for months...could not take the paint off though.
Good paint remover and elbow grease should do it!
Good luck.
Paint stripper. Maybe methylated spririts will work, but paint stripper will be you best bet. Pour or paint it on and it should start to peel of pretty quickly. There will be instructions on the can on how to do it properly. Always remember to do a patch test first in an inconspicuous spot first. Also your local paint or hardware store will be able to point you in the right direction.
use paint stripper and a glass scraper,if not try a heat gun, works wonders.
