Does anyone know any good books or websites on painting outdoor cement?

Question:This would be a simple decorative project to brighten up a cement yard that is old and drab. No real art work just solid colors over an area that gets sun and shade. We need to know what is the best process and products to create a great end result. Some helpful tips would be great. Thanks

Check out www.Behr or www. Cabot for their stains. They do have them for cement. They will give you information on application. You could always rely on the Home Improvement stores, like Lowes and Home Depot. HGTV.com can also give you some different looks.

Well I saw something on HGTV that made me wish a had a cement patio so I could paint it. You can go to home depot or lowes and CEMENT PAINT. It comes in a few diffrent colors. The example they did was... They painted the flat cement slab with a brown color... and actually the took this stencil.. with alot of loops and stuff... looks fancy... and after the brown paint dried.. they had a smaller can of white. and painted the stencil on top of the brown... SO basically is an "outdoor" Rug that you never have to wash or move.. and they set thier paito set on top of that with some planters... it was soooo nice.. AND CHEAP!
