How do i decorate my room?
Question:i am a 16 vyear old girl!
now i am getting room of my own so need some suggestions to decorate it!
plz help me .....i want my room to look very cool,cute,relaxed and a bit girly with lots of space for my stuff.......
plz suggest some sites ,colour for walls,wardrobs,tables,lamps,an... other small stuff...

My first suggestion to you is to use your favorite colors. You said you want a cool room. Cool colors are blues and greens but my guess is you meant ,cool looking, as in great looking! One of the current trends is 60/70's retro. Bright colors lime green, hot pink, purples and so on. This look is available everywhere. Try JC Penney's or Target. You can use any of these colors for you walls, try sheer soft curtains with a row of beads over them for the window treatment. I like white furniture to set off the colors in the room. White wall shelves with colorful pots of daisies and colored picture frames make a great decorative statement. Get some big posters at the craft store and frame them in inexpensive white poster frames. For bedding go with a mixture of the colors you like best. Green and pink look great together. But if you have used other colors you liked better to decorate your room then go with those.
Your room should be all about you, so choose a decor that speaks to you. Use colors and things you love!

We decorated a friend's room - white walls with rag rolled metallic silver accent. A canopy over her bed (sheer fabric draped from curtain rods) - used her favorite snapshots, pictures from magazines and sayings as a border -- hung them up with straight pins so they're easy to change but still look neat/coordinated, bright colored "bandanas" of her favorite fabrics for a valance - just hung on clip curtain rings and then a cafe valance for more privacy in a solid/one print she chose. You could add a fuzzy umbrella chair and pillows.
Christmas lights are a cheap way to add sparkle around the room or under a loft bed.
IF you have one near you check out Ikea for some cute stuff.
Buy a bunch of decorating magazines and rip out pictures as you go then go back through and see what you've ripped out that you like - usually a theme will emerge.
