Putting quotes on wall?

Question:i want to put some words on my wall, but i'm running out of practical options of doing so. i can't find stencils with the font i'm looking for. i thought about printing it out on paper then cutting the paper into strips the size of scotch tape (the wide one that you put on boxes) the taping them onto the wall; i've thought about buying canvasses and writing the words on them and hanging them on the wall... but i'm not happy with any of them.

any ideas???????//

I think personaly the canvas idea is great...

find someone who has penmanship that you appreciate. Have them write what you want on the wall in pencil. Go over it when perfect in permanent ink or paint.
How about a dry erase board.
If you get tired of quote just change it.
you can just buy pre-made "quotes" that come in all kinds of fonts, sizes. they are on transfer paper that you just align where you want them and then rub the paper and they are on your wall. I have them in my baby's room, just single words like;
"dream" "imagine" "wish" but you can by full quotes and you can have personalized quotes custom made. they are not expensive and so easy to use, plus apparently you can just scrape them off if you don't want them anymore. they are sold at most boutiques, crafts stores or hallmark kind of stores.

I just googled "wall quotes" and tons showed up.
A few years ago I made stencils of the school motto for my children's school. You can buy blank stencil sheets in any craft department. They are near the ready made stencils. Print the quote in the font you like on your computer and attach it temporarily to the underside of the stencil sheet. Use a glue stick for this. Cut out the letters with an exacto or razor blade. If you have "centers" such as on the letter O or D just stick them to the wall in the appropriate place when stenciling. You can use a special spray adhesive for attaching the stencil sheet to the wall, or simply tape the edges with masking tape. Another option would be to use clear contact paper. You could temp. attach the paper quote to the frontside of the contact paper and cut through all thicknesses from the front. Good luck! Your project sounds fun!
