My Kitchen is Getting Remodeled, Cherry Cabinets, Black stone Counter tops.?
Question:Stainless steel appliances, and a Rosy rustic, tile which incorporates the cherry and speckles in the Black Contertop.
What color should I do the walls?

Since its relatively bright due to the windows and french doors and lighting, why not go bolder and try something like a bluish grey? You can even do it 2-tone so you'd have say the lower part a darker shade than the upper parts of the wall. I've seen 1 house with that colour scheme and the kitchen is very much like yours with airy, bright natural lighting, dark surfaces and stainless steel equipments, AND, grey walls.

LOL - Ok, this is my personal opinion, but everything is so dark, that it's going to get rather gloomy if you make the walls dark too.
I've always felt something light and bright puts you in a cheery mood, while too dark can put you in a gloomy mood.
I think you should make the kitchen a light shade of your favorite color [ assuming you are the chief cook ] because you spend a lot of time in there.
Just a suggestion, I get all kind of ideas by looking at new home models. I'm not looking for a new house mind you but the builders hire interior decorators and I get all kinds of ideas walking though the models. I guess I'm a visual person and looking at a book or going on the web just doesn't work.
you could go with a multitude of colors
take your tiles to the local paint store, and match it to the closest color to the rosy rustic tile.
with help from the clerk, or if they have the computer program that allows you to mix and match tones, shades and hues, choose an accent color that give that ambiance you want
want something bright fresh and organic? go with a shade of sage with a slightly muted tone
want something deep and romantic? go with reds and burnt oranges to stimulate appetites
something classic and european? go with a tuscan yellow and wrought iron?
are you a girly girl? go with eggplant and lilac colors and flowers and greenery and ivy.
you can do anything you want, mixing and matching to the tone and shade you want, depending on your furniture
Pull the color from your dining room into the kitchen. It doesn't have to be the same color, but a variation of it. Look at the colors in your rug/drapes/chair fabric, etc. that will compliment the colors in the kitchen (tile and cabinetry). If you have a complementary color in your overall color scheme in your home, pull that color or a variation of it into the dining room and kitchen.
You have a lot of strong colors already. Maybe just something warm that serves as a backdrop. Something like oatmeal maybe?
Something light and airy... sagy greens are always a good choice for kitchens. Its a tranquil and calming color and allot of family time is spent in that area of the house. Avoid the color yellow, thats the worst color to paint a kitchen, it makes people on edge and irritable.
