My upstairs bathroom has 1 sinlge sink, I would like to put 2 sinks in, can I split the line right there?

Question:Or do I have to put in a second water supply line coming up from the basement?

Answers:
You should be able to split the line there and avoid running a second line. Then you just need to make sure there's enough room for a second sink in your cabinet.

You can do all of your connections right there as long as there is room under the sinks.

If your cabinet is going to have drawers it would be best to plot out where every thing will go, so that you will have room to fit every thing in.
