What pillows don't go flat?
Question:i am after some decent pillows that don't go flat after a few weeks leaving me with a stiff neck!
Answers:
I have a pack in front of me right now, and they are 'John Cotton rebound pillows returns to it's natural fullness long after ordinary pillows let you down', they come in a pack of two and are not expensive I can't remember where I got them but a Web search should get you to them, rebound is a registered trade mark of John Cotton, got them somewhere local in Kilmarnock so I don't think you should find them hard to get, and they do what it says on the pack.
inject them with more feathers
Ive got some real feather pillows. Ive had mine ages and they havent gone flat!
xx
I'm with Gemma :D
Yep, it's those old fashioned ones. I have yet to find any of that standard in this day and time. Sorry I threw them old ones away.
I know i have the same problem, it's awful! Ive tried so many pillows and they all end up going flat.
I bought some pillows from K-Mart from the Martha Stewart line. They have a foam type core so they keep they're shape and firmness. I've had them for six months and they're just the same as the day I bought them. The plus side is that when I bought them, they were two for ten dollars. So I bought four.
Good luck!
The best one I've had that didn't go flat was filled with rice husks. Actually it was a little hard...but the best thing was that it didn't lose shape and have your head sink into it...and it didn't get hot (like when you have to turn the pillow over to get to the cool side).
I haven't found another like it again...but it was great (I had it when I lived in Korea).
duck down no not you, the feathers lol
Cement ones?
:-)
No but seriously now, you might have to fork out a little more and invest in more 'stiff' ergonomically shaped pillows that support the natural shape of the neck vertebrae so that your head is not too high up. You might need to look into your mattress as well...is it too soft? Some people claim to get a better sleep on a harder mattress. It is initially expensive, but a good one can have a guarantee of up to 10 or 15 years.
Good luck, sorry about the joke, couldn't resist, and hope this helped.
I've been told that you should throw out traditional pillows every 6-8 months due to the dust mites and other particle build up. This might also be why pillows don't maintain their shape very long. They aren't made for keeping that long.
That said, an alternative is to buy a set of Tempurpedic pillows to sleep with. There is no question that this will be more expensive at first. However, the Tempurpedic material is scientifically proven to keep dust mites out and the product comes with a guarantee for keeping it's shape. Afterall, it was originally designed by NASA.
If you're concerned about the aesthetics of the pillows, you can keep a more traditional set on your bed for show. My husband and I do this ourselves. We store our tempurpedic pillows inside a bench at the foot of our bed. Then we swap out the pillows at bed time. Works really well and looks fantastic!
Good luck! : )
pillows, the best Ive ever had are Dunlap's?they are not too expensive, but we do pay for what you get,the only thing is acquiring them some stores change there stock or they never re order hope you find them great pillow great sleep.

i dont know, what pillows don't go flat?....... sorry thought it was a joke ,fibre , feather...but you have to plump them up, stay away from dacron (cotton wool)
My husband said Yoshokawa Pillows for your neck. You can purchase them at Macy's, Gottschalk's, or Bed Bath and Beyond. Hope this helps.
Buy cheap foam pillows
Get a real down pillow. If it starts to get flat, it just takes 2 seconds to shake it up and make it nice and fluffy again. I've had mine for years and I love it.
i recently brought my hubby a memory foam pillow took him bout 3 days to get used to it but swears by it now!!! doesnt look as pretty as normal pillows when bed made but i just put normall pillows over the top of it when making bed and take off at night hope this helps they range in price from 15>25 pounds but are worth it as they never go flat
there is a pillow for snorers that will not go flat it is formed for your neck and head..Mean time to keep from getting a stiff neck, sleep on 2 pillows..
It took me years to figure that one out, I tried everything for my neck. Finally I came up with 1 feather pillow and 1 regular pillow. I put the feather on top of the other pillow and between the two it worked out perfect for me. You still have support from the flat pillow and you can regulate your comfort with the feather pillow. If that makes sense. Hope this helped some.
