Re-paint my bedroom.. What colour should I choose?
Question:I have a small bedroom.. with no windows in it..
And I want to repaint it soon..
It was blue and yellow.. but now i feel like changing it for something more mature.. i'm almost 20 !
I want a colour that isn't too dull and something that i wont get bored with quickly.. and i want a soothing colour.. u know? also i would like a colour that would show that it is wider..
i like light and bright colours..
and i want it to be more than one colour ..
i like: purple, orange and almost all the colours.. but nothing dark
10 points for the best answer :)
thanks a lot

You can use either purple or orange ( or any other color, for that matter) and do a monochromatic color scheme. Just choose three shades of the same color, a light, a medium, and a deep, vibrant one. That looks sophisticated without making a small space too busy.
purple n green r real pretty together
Hi from France ♫
Try light yellow or light orange !! These colors stimulate me ...Very !
Have a nice day,
Cat.
you can try purple and put photo on pink fram it'll be cute or use orange with green
for a wider room go for the light colors you prefer, and use colors midium in brightness... too bright will make the room smaller.
since you want a mature look and not one to be bored from easily you have two approaches:
1. go for neutrial if you like them, like biege, gray, white... and use colors for bedding, accesories, and accents... you can cange these all the time. Break the monotony also with using different patterns and textures, or...
2. use light midium in brightness colors using the rule of three for more interest; which is getting three colors you like all over the room. one example may be: light orange, light blue voilet, and light turquoise (it's a split complementary color scheme) for the soothing effect you need... whatever makes happy!
light blue with light green theese colours r the best i like them alot.plzzzzzz can u give me the 10 points plzzz
Of course for a small bedroom with no windows you are going to have to use a lighter color.
If you love purple a soft plum could be very soothing and mature. Some shades I love are (All sherwin williams colors you can find on the website and match in any other brand):
Daydream (SW 6541)
Veiled Violet (SW 6268)
Sensitive Tint (SW 6267)
Or for a very modern and mature look you could start with a neutral gray base. It may sound boring, but with punches of color in your bedding and acessories it can make a room look very sophisticated. My grey color picks are:
Silverplate (SW 7649)
Modern Gray (SW 7632)
Or for a warmer look, try a taupe:
Urban Putty (SW 7532)
Sandbar (SW 7547)
Pair any of these nuetrals with your purples or a lovely green and you would have a very chic mature look, but still light, airy and modern.
Good luck! Hope I helped!
