Titanium is one of the strongest metals, but I've never seen a bed frame made out of it. Probably steel is your best bet.

I do not see any reason why you couldn't use a truly tough metal like titanium... other than price inhibitions, i.e. ^_^
Titanium - but that is not the only consideration. Weight and cost mean that aluminum is probably the best bet.
If it is made of metal, it is made of metal, if you meant material as wood or metal that is another question.
other option would be aluminum but I don't believe they make them of aluminum!
