I am a 13 year old turning 14 and I REALLY need some ideas on a comforter.?
Question:My room is based on what I like in second grade and I want a change. I want something kinda funky like teal and aqua or green and pink or an idea YOU give me. DOn't say bed bath and beyond or i'll get angry. ThAnKs!!

u can have a fourth of the bottom 1/2 lime green.and the top 3/4 could be a pretty pink.oh and a pretty border that is lime green and pink with circles.it would look AWESOME!!!

Have you went to target to look for a comforter,they have really great bedding for teens.I got a harley davidson comforter for my daughter,it has hot pink and black in it and is really pretty and I got that on clearance for $8.00,you can really find some great bedding there at great prices too.Good luck ,hope you find what you are looking for!

Well my daughter is 13 going on 30 , haha and recently went through a change with her room also.
At first she was set on this set from TARGET. IT was blue , purple and green. The comforter itself was white but alot of geometirc shapes. like lots of diffrent color and sized circles, kind of like RETRO.
But all the accessories , it was just going to cost too much.
So what we did do was , she picked 2 colors she really liked the most, which was Aqua and white. I chose another color.. and I know it sounds yucky but I picked brown.
We painted the walls a lighter bluish/aqua so it wouldnt match EXACTLY to Aqua. Got her a throw rug from walmart that was actually blueish/brown/white and green. I got throw pillows also from walmart , in a few matching colors and sewed diffrent buttons on them , of course also in matching colors. For decoration artsy stuff, we got some kanvasaes from an art store and I got some Acryllic paints .. they are like 47cents a bottle... and we did one splatter .. and one with lines. GOt them framed and they look so expensive! We also put in some shelves to store her things, and actually with her dresser and this short desk we sanded and repainted with white / with a little gold glaze dabbed on .. with a mirror I found at the good will to make a matching dresser and a vanity, which she loves to sit and do her hair and play with makeup while yakking on the phone...

I actually have a GOOD goodwill in a rich neighboorhood so all the stuff in there is practally BRAND NEW.. I swear I found this mirror , round.. with shells or some opal stones .. for like $3... and I swear I saw almost the same thing at Boston Store for 4 $50!!!
Well, since you are 13 going on 14, I can understand that your tastes have changed since second grade! Do keep in mind that your tastes will change again (in about 2 or 3 years - I know... I have 3 teenagers!) so you may want to consider just buying a duvet cover and putting your comforter inside it. This will be less expensive and will allow you to change the look of your room easily and without hassle.
