Baby due any day. I have a co-sleeping basket.. how do I stop my bed from sliding around?
Question:I have laminate and my bed frame tends to slide throughout the night. Also my top matress tens to slide as well by morning. How do I make it all stable so it doesn't shift anywhere. I think the wheels on the bed frame are locked.. but lamitate... I already have a dresser pinning the head of the bed to the wall... so it is not at bad as it used to be... How to make it more sturdy.. any creative ideas?

You could put small pieces of carpet under the legs of the bed. And this sounds crazy but get one of those egg crate covers that usually sits on top of your matress and put it in between your matress and box spring, that should create enough grip to stop your matress from sliding around, and depending on the size they are only about $15.00 at wal-mart
I just used a bassinette placed next to my bed. It makes for easy access to your baby in the middle of the night and you don't have to worry about the bed moving around or rolling over onto your baby.
Sure. Go to a store where they sell futons. Ask to buy the black anti-slip sheet made to keep the futon from sliding off the frame. It is relatively inexpensive. Place this between your mattress and the box spring.
As for the bed sliding around itself on the laminate, you can buy non-slip coasters to place under the feet of the bed. If you don't know where or can't find any, buy a rubber non-slip liner for rugs (it looks like rubber graph paper) and put small pieces of this directly under the feet of your bed. Problem solved for pennies!
