The best interior deodorizer is a clean home that does not have places for bacteria and mold to grow and emit odors. As far as the commercially available cover-ups, they are all the same and it is personal preference. Just because I like vanilla doesn't mean you can't enjoy lilac.

There are many varieties. Sanitizing, deodorizing, sanitizing deodorizing. There are as many different aromas available as there are flowers and fruit in the world. The choice is not really what others think or feel is best, but rather what YOU like and makes your surroundings more comfortable for YOU.
I would advise anyone to avoid the "normal" home air deodorizers, especially the chemical ones that are sprayed in the air or on the fabric in your home. Instead, sprinkle some baking soda on your carpet, and then vacuum a few minutes later. Store the leftovers in the box, in your fridge to help absorb odours there. To give an instant aroma, try heating a small pot of chocolate chips on the stove on low. It will fill your home with a delicious aroma that lasts for days, and to revamp the smell, simply add a tablespoon of water to it and give it a stir.
Or, light a stick of incense in your favourite scent.
I have done all of these, and they work wonders. The aerosol deodorizers tend to dry out the air (since they have alcohol in them), and I don't trust the fact that they could be inhaled (they are solvents afterall!)

if you go to a hispanic store there is some stuff called fabuloso and it is purple it is used to mop but it smells so good that I put a little in spray bottle 1/3 and add water and spritz all over the place believe me it leaves your place smelling so good and doesnt cost more than $1.79 for a pretty good sized bottle just put it up because children might think it is Koolaid.so put up very high.trust me..you will love this product
