Question:

Answers:
You will just have to scrape them off. Polycell do a DIY plaster that will help you in smoothing over any bumps.

By the way these are an extreme fire hazard and shold be removed asap for your safety.

I have never heard of this thing called polostirene, is it a game on horseback or in a swimming pool or is it something to do with fire extinguishers? I had a ceiling covered with tiles made up of some form of bubbly plastic and if you are lucky and they were fixed with wallpaper paste they come off easily with a scraper. If they were fixed with something like Unibond you have troubles - get in a plasterer who will skim it for you. Either way it makes MESS, in capital letters. one small box of tiles when bought will become six wheelbarrows full when hacked off the ceiling... Good Luck and move all furnature out before starting on the job..... Pat.
you wanna get urself one o them big scrapers ...whack it off ...fill it...and...! bobs your auntys live in lover!
