you should watch HGTV, they have a show called small spaces big style. they have lots of good ideas on that show...
do not worry about all that. have faith in god and be truthful to yourself. then success comes automatically. many people who have become successful have never followed such superstitions and many of those who follow have never become successful in life.
If we follow our old beliefs we are treated as foolish traditional folks, but then why follow some other nations superstitions!!
