Sheets: Satin Vs. Silk?

Question:I am looking for sheets that are romantic and sexy. I have heard that some materials are not breathable and can make you uncomfortable or hot. Which materials are best?

Answers:
Neither, they photograph better than they feel or wear.
Get 100% cotton sheets with a high thread count and no discernible weave and as light a color as possible for your decor. Deep dyes in sheets need many washings to rid them of excess dyes that make the sheets stiff. If you want romantic, get the sheets with heavily embroidered or lacy trims. Use several different laces and pillows for a lush romantic look the embroidery can have a coordinating color if you wish. Satins make you slip and aren't breathable and they look awful when they get sweaty (or worse), there are sheets made with cotton and silk, but I don't know if they are worth the cost. Always wash and iron your sheets and pillowcases for a really pampered feel.
