Where do I buy a frame for my bed?
Question:I feel stupid, but I just moved out of my parents house, and I'm trying to make it on my own for the first time, and I have a mattress, but no frame for my bed... anyone know where I can buy one, how I know how big my bed is, and how much it'd cost? Thanks!

Any mattress store or furniture store should have them in stock. Go with a local mom and pop place they are usually cheaper. I twin or full size frame should run about thirty dollars and a queen or king should run 50. Also make sure if you have a king or queen size bed that the frame has a center support. It will add years of life to your mattress and box spring with center support. Another cheap location nationwide for bedframes is Big Lots if they stock furniture in your local store.

Look on the tag for the mattress, it will tell you the size. You can measure the bed, too. Bring the dimensions into any store that sells mattresses. You can order a frame from them.
Full or queen frames run anywhere from $60-$100 delivered.

I'd try craigslist.org Find their site for your city and check out the furniture classifieds, you may even be able to find one for free.
