What color to paint walls with a red and black couch?

Question:Hello,

My partner and I just bought red and black leather couches. We wanted something out of the ordinary. It looks similar to this:

However, I don't know what color to paint the walls. I was thinking of painting them a nice tan or beige color. Please let me know. All advice on this matter would be awesome!!

CHEERS!!

Answers:
Use an alabaster white and plenty of large abstract paintings.
These are very specific couches and they need modern around them, but not something that will ask to be noticed.
Use the primary colors from the paintings to add another color, like either primary blue, or primary yellow to the accessories, like a throw, pillows, or an area rug.

hi
beige or tan would be fine
also depend on the carpet color
try to put some red accents on the wall to balance the effect
Cafe au lait is a nice safe, calm choice.

But for different I'd go lime green.

Nice furniture!
i would stick with beige or a bread basket color...and i hope you didn't pay too much for those couches cause those aren't going to be easy to change the mood of the room.
Paint the walls off white and tea stain them with an umber/sienna wash. it will give a warm mottled effect and go well with red and black. If you need specific instructions, I'll send them to you.
