At what age does the professional male start appreciating nice home furnishings?
Question:In other words, when does he abandon the notion that dorm room decor is acceptable?
Answers:
"Professional" male?
Dang, I have been working as an amateur all these years and I never knew anyone would pay me to have testes.
As for when "dorm-chic" becomes unacceptable ... it all depends on income and upbringing. First the professional male must be bringing in a professional income sufficient to make the purchase of nice furniture feasible (kind of an existential question, really), and only second must or should the professional male develop mature, sophisticated tastes (usually by reading magazines and looking at movies).
For many men, it falls to their spouses to impose the taste in decor rising above boards, cinder block and dumpster-salvage.
For some, it is true, the dormroom decor is a lifetime thing. We call them "bachelors".
When she makes him.
;)
Men only have nicely furnished places because they think women will like it. Or because their wives decorate for them.
But any man's game room will have beer signs and movie posters.
Depends on the male. My hubby didn't appreciate nice furniture until we got new stuff. now we are redoing the house one room at a time.
........23 would be a good age.My Ex never did,he was 47...go figure,thanks for 2..
