My carpet is Forest green and My couchs tans, What colors should I apint my walls?
Question:
Answers:
A darker tan than the couch would make the room look "warmer" (cozier), and a lighter tan than the couch or lighter green than the carpet would make the room look "cooler" (less cozy). But if you're looking to bring in a third color, rusts and golds would again read as "warmer", and blues would read as "cooler". So, do you want a warmer look or a cooler look?
I would use a deep mocha or gold, with white or cream trim.
Then add accents in a red or orange.
i would say paint your walls white with a nice mocha trim and maybe addinn some beige it would look nice
ummm.go to ur local paint shop and ask them..it helps out alott..u could put little dobs of both on a little sheet of paper and mix em' together.idk.just try it..it could work...
What ever you use it will take more than apint maybe aquart
I would suggest getting paint sample cards in the greens and tan range, see if you can find a light green that would go with your rug, or a tan that would go with your couch.
OR
You could go a little "wild" and paint your walls anything from a light pumpkin to a deep rust, then add accents of the same color to the rest of the room (maybe using printed fabric that has all the colors in it)
Maybe you could do a burnt orange/terra cotta color, a medium brown, or cream. The trim could be a darker brown.
