Answers:
If you have access to the underside of these floors, you need to identify exactly where the squeaks are and then you can cut pieces of 5/8 inch plywood to fit between the studs and use 1" drywall screws to screw the plywood to the wooden floor from underneath. Don't skimp on the screws and use as many as you need to stop the squeak. You'll need someone else to help you (walk on the floor to identify the squeak while you are in the basement doing screwing in the plywood. It's a bit of a pain, but if you can do it it should solve your problems. Also, be sure to use PLYWOOD and not OSB or particle board. These aren't stiff enough to do what you need done. A sheet of plywood is about $12 and 250 drywall screws is about $2.50.

Have them removed and replaced..the squeaks are part of the charm. Nothing is perfect!
