I would like to paint my kitchen cabinets, how do I do this? what type of paint and primer do I use?

Question:

Answers:
wash with TSP first. prime with zinzer primer and then use an oil base paint.

put a profile sand job on all areas to be painted, prime with oil olympic seal all primer, finish coat with oil base paint, 2 coats
Depends on if your cabinets have a veneer or not. If they do I'm not sure as you would need to remove that first or the paint may not take.

If not you can primer with Kilz and paint any color you like or do a color wash, distress them depending on the look you want.
General Finishes has a great selection of oil based and water based paints. Plus, they have a great sanding tutorial and instructions for painting.
