See my before/after pictures, how should I paint my 1960 house?

Question:I used a program to digitally paint my house and I am leaning toward these colors. Any suggestions? I wouldn't want to use colors that would make my home look smaller, though. I like neutrals instead of blues/grays. See my before/after pictures at http://fixmicasa.blogspot.com/

I love the after example. It gives your house some personality and pizazz. Go For It!

Earth tones would look better. Scrap the digital paint and use a quality exterior latex paint.
it depends on where your house is located- this looks like California. If you choose this color- add color to your yard with landscaping trees and flowers, and a little brick work.
If it is in a cooler section of the country, use a taupe color with black shutters and white trim.
Lemon-lime? Yikes!

I actually like it, but it will kill your resale value. If you plan on staying a while and it fits your personality, go for it!

You might check with your neighbors first though, just to make sure they won't be painting your house with eggs for you after you go to all the trouble . . .
