BLACK AND WHITE BEDROOM THEME w/YELLOW ACCENTS??
Question:Hey,
I'm trying to re-decorate my room by possibly using a bedspread similar to this:

and I'd like to use bright yellow slightly modern/Marie Antoinette-ish accents like lamps and whatnot.
How would I go about doing this, and does anyone have any picture examples of a room like that?
Also, what color should the walls be?
Any help is appreciated!
Thank you!

has black/white bedding with yellow decor accents
the combination looks quite nice
I like that idea!
I'd make the walls a brownish-yellow color and if your changing the carpet to get a yellow one (not too yellow but a soft color) remeber to get nice curtains that match and your all set ^_^ hope you like it!
sounds and will look awesome! go for it
what about some red velvet in there or possibly for the curtains. never underestimate using a type of antique looking patterned fabric as you wall covering, it adds more choice to your decorating options and very very easy to take down and change when you grow tried of it.
just hang the fabric with a staple gun or some kind of strong tacks.
try shabby chic - its a cute way to decorate in the girly, marie antoinette fashion.
Hmm.. I don't know about a bright yellow with that. I think it would look good in a room with subdued colors like burgundy and charcoal. It would make the design pop, where yellow would draw your attention to . whatever is yellow. Also, yellow isn't a very relaxing color for a bedroom.

You could paint the walls either a light yellow or white. You could also use black shabby chic furniture int he room. You have great ideas - go for it!
Great choice. Just make sure to use soft colors. Too much brightness can make a room un-cozy. Good luck!
