Best way to keep a room cold?
Question:
Answers:
Since you didn't elaborate, I am not sure what kinds of conditions you are living in, but I can tell you what I do:
I live in a climate where it gets cool at night and gets hot in the day. We keep the windows open all night and make sure to close the windows by 7am. This traps in cool air. We also have large potted palms in front of all the windows that get lots of sun. This blocks sun heat from coming into the house and looks nicer than foil.
Besides this, there are many ways to create shade over your windows, including trees, vines on a trellis, silver mini-blinds, awnings, and professional window tinting.
air condition?
You could put some alluminum Foil on the windows, or get air conditioning. But if you live in Europe you probably won't have any (i know this and it sucks) so you should probably get fans and put the foil on the windows to keep them cool.
