I am going to be married. what color i should use to paint walls of my new bedroom?
Question:my room is small.
Answers:
Maybe do 3 walls in a nice, rich cream color, and one accent wall in red. If you choose a deep red color, the room will look romantic - but not too bright or feminine. With only one wall being red and the rest being white, you will still get the effect that white walls make - a larger room. I would also recommend that the red wall is the one behind the bed.
Good luck and congrats on the marriage!
Red, so it wont show the bloodstains.
Passionate Red.
Light Tartan.
In a small room, use a barely there color - some sort of really light blue, yellow, green, etc. The color itself won't have a huge effect on the appearance of the size of the room, so long as it is a very light shade. If you use a dark shade, the room will look smaller. I'd suggest getting some color cards, showing them to your spouse-to-be, and deciding on the color together.
Green because it's unisex.
How about bull-crap-brown since this is a definite bull-crap question.
Even IF you were serious, she'll just change the color to her liking anyway. So don't bother asking here, ask HER!!
try painting only one main wall a solid color to make the room appear bigger. The ceiling should alway be a shade or two lighter to make it seem higher and bigger. I like bold colors and this way the woman can have color while the man has nothing too girly. Try red or like a dark mauve or light chocolate. Also if you dont like the bare walls idea and 1 wall painted you could do sponge art on the other walls with a few shades lighter than your main wall color. You get a really holey lookin sponge, dip it in paint, dab it off a little and just blot or dab the paint all over the wall (cover it but dont smear or swipe it or it will just paint it).
WELL DON"T ASK US !
We're never gonna see it.Score some points and ask the one who will be spending as much time there as you.!
that was a hint.
congratulation and wish you happy married life. bedroom colour light green or light rose is best of my colour knowledge
good luck
OF COURSE RED! BETTER FOR UR WIFE. WISH U A VIRGIN GIRL. BE HAPPY. BEST OF LUCK.
This decision should be made as a couple. Imagine waking up every day and the first thing you see, you don't like.
Look at magazines, books, together, to determine what you each like. If your favorites and your spouse's favorites don't concord, then you should settle on a third way, such as a second choice for each of you, rather than your first choice.
Light colours will make the room seem bigger. In the case of motifs, smaller would be better.
Use light colours to create space. Consult your spouse.
As a painter this is a question I have been asked many times and I always have the same answer.Reds and such are hot, heavy active colors which might not do well for resting where blues and greens are considered low and slow.In the end the customer finds that it is a personal choice based on the colors they like.I have painted bedrooms in everything from flat black to hot pink.Enjoy.
well, whats yoru favorite color?
colors can effect how we feel too and it depend son what mood you are in all the time.
i like plain old white and paint the borders and outline a darker or brighter color
Listen to Misterchickie. Our opinions mean nothing...your fiancee is the one you need to discuss this with and whose opinions you need to consider.
Think for a second: What if 10 people on this board tell you to paint the room green...and your fiancee despises the color green? Not a good way to start a marriage. His/her opinion is the only one you should be soliciting.
Since you are getting married, this is something you need to discuss with your soon to be spouse.
What ever you do don't go peach, men see that as pink and girly.
I know that most women want a really romantic bedroom, but most men I know don't much appreciate flowers and frills. Keep it simple, and again, I think it is very important to discuss the color with your spouse before doing anything.
That's just my opinion.
Any cool, soothing , tranquil color like blues or greens.
