Will a certain bed make my bedroom seem larger?

Question:I have a small bedroom (12' x 12') and want to make the room feel as large as possible. I am getting a queen size bed. Which will be better proportion-wise.a regular height bed, or a platform or low bed.

a low bed will work or plaform. try not to use headboards or footboards, those will definitely make the room look too small to fit the bed. Also try to have most of your furniture focused in one part of the room so that the other part can have more free space and will seem alot more open.
